During the initial consultation, we discuss your goals with you, talk about the schools you're applying to, and what they're looking for. Then, if you have essays, we take a look at them and give you general advice, or we look at your extracurriculars and formulate a plan to improve them over the next month.
We start by helping you choose the right extracurriculars, classes, and clubs while you acclimate to high school. By 10th grade, we transition to building out your extracurricular profile for impact, working toward developing passion projects that will become the foundation of your college essays.
While early high school focuses on taking passion projects from 0 to 1, junior year is about taking them from 1 to 100. We focus on expanding projects, accelerating partnerships, and applying for scholarships and awards to maximize your impact and recognition.
Starting the summer before senior year, we work on developing your story and begin essay writing. During 12th grade, we shift focus almost entirely to applications - compiling your college list and perfecting essays through our iterative process. We work together to create outlines, provide feedback, and refine until deadlines (November 1st for early admission, early January for regular decision).
Our commitment doesn't end with acceptance. We support you through the college decision process, scholarship negotiations, and transition planning to ensure you're set up for success at your chosen university.
